What a sweet week this was! As many of you know, my little sister, Cindy, and her fiancé, Davis, are getting married in Savannah on May 12th. We all met in Savannah for a weekend of festivities- a wedding shower for Cindy and Davis on Saturday night and a baby shower for me and Marshall on Sunday. Cindy and Davis got so many great things to start their home together and it was fun to see her big smiles on her first real set of pots. She had lots of friends in town for the weekend, and we all had a blast at Codi and Braxton’s house enjoying amazing barbecue, a bonfire, and the company of so many close friends and family. On Sunday morning, Marshall and I started our day with picking up Mema, my 94-year old grandmother, who as many of you know, we just adore! She has a tradition of giving each of her grandchildren a crib for their first baby, and we were so happy to get a new white crib that looks perfect in the nursery. That morning, I was showered by the generosity of my old high school friends from St. Vincent’s, grandmothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, and my sweet mother and mother in law. From pink converse high tops to pretty dresses and sleep sacks to functional towels and a diaper bag to cool gear like Pack and Plays and a car seat, we are so appreciative of our start to help prepare for baby Jones! Many, many thanks to Cindy, Kim, Mom, Abby, and Aunt Jerrie for throwing me an awesome shower!
