My parents came in town this past weekend for their annual trip to the Atlanta merchandise mart to select items for my mom’s monogram and gift shop in Savannah. Of course, they fit in some Zoë time while they were here. We met them out for an early dinner at Taco Mac on Saturday afternoon. For a baby who rarely sees a TV, this was quite the adventure. For the first half hour, she just tried to take it all in: wide-eyed at the sensory overload, and in complete awe at the colors, sounds, and TV’s that surrounded her. Once she was settled in, Zoë kicked back in her highchair with her stomach bellied out, refused to eat the broccoli we had ordered her, and just sipped on her sippee cup like it was the best drink ever while she watched football like a frat boy. She loved it! On a more tame note, we had my family over to our house on Sunday for brunch- great weekend all around! Of course, swinging made our list of weekend activities too!
